Revenusion is the company behind MonetizeIt and its successor Oclavex, which brings licensing, entitlements and usage metering to software vendors. Both are built and run by a .NET team that has shipped on the platform since version 1.0.

Our history

From MonetizeIt to Oclavex

  1. Thirty years of licensing

    The same problem, at every vendor

    Before Revenusion, the founders spent three decades on software licensing, pricing and monetization. They met the same situation each time. The commercial terms lived in the product’s code. The offline customer was a special project. Every pricing change waited for a new version.

  2. Revenusion, 2021

    MonetizeIt

    Revenusion was founded in 2021, and MonetizeIt was its first platform. It offered signed licenses checked on the device, offline and air-gapped activation, a Provision Portal and a .NET SDK. It was built for specific cases and specific customers, and it still runs for them today.

  3. Oclavex, 2026

    Opening it up for everyone

    Oclavex is the successor of MonetizeIt, for every software vendor. It does everything MonetizeIt does, and adds usage metering, token metering for AI features and an analytics portal. Prices are public, and every feature is free to evaluate. Public release is expected in December 2026. MonetizeIt stays available for existing users. They can move to Oclavex whenever they like, with little effort and at the price they pay today.

The must-haves in every plan

Offline activation and a complete audit trail decide whether a regulated buyer can ship. So every plan includes them, Basic too.

We run what we sell

Every Oclavex account is licensed by Oclavex. The Evaluation plan, its limits and the upgrade prompts in the portal run on the same engine you would ship.

Open client code

Every client library is public on GitHub: the .NET SDK, the C/C++ library and the samples. You may change and distribute them as part of your Oclavex license.

Everyone comes along

Existing MonetizeIt users keep what they have for as long as they want. They move to Oclavex on their own schedule, with the same usage limits and the same price.

The team

The people who built the platform also work for hire

Oclavex is a multi-tenant .NET platform that we build and run ourselves. It uses ASP.NET Core, Blazor, PostgreSQL and Redis, in containers behind a reverse proxy. The same team also does development work for software vendors: cloud development, modernization, and packaging, licensing and metering. Most teams do that work once. We do it every day.

  • It runs as a modular monolith that also builds as separate services. So we have already solved a hard problem ourselves: moving a service out while the business keeps running.
  • Four complete demo applications are live right now: metered SaaS, connected devices, desktop seats and an air-gapped network.
  • The offline and air-gapped activation path is built and already running in Bastion, so your project starts from working code.
