What you sell

Grow how you sell

Whatever you sell today, Oclavex has a better way to sell it tomorrow. You add one step at a time, and everything you have already sold keeps working. Every install checks its own license before it runs.

One build, a different product for every customer

Your product, the version it covers, and the features that customer bought. Your application checks any of them with a line of code.

Your application reads the signed license to see what is switched on. The signature proves it came from you.

Give customers a reason to move up

Plans bundle features and limits. Add a plan whenever you decide, and the customers already running pick up a changed one when you push it.

A customer keeps the plan they were granted until you push a new one to them.

Get paid for every copy that runs

A signed license the device checks on its own, with no network and no license server. Binding to a machine is one choice. Later, the license can follow a person instead.

Each device checks the signature itself, so it runs on a license your account signed.

    Make every seat count

A seat is one device holding a license at a time. Lock it to the machine, let it float between machines, or put it on the person so it travels with them.

Seats are counted per device. A restart keeps the same seat, and a new machine takes the next free one.

Turn single sales into yearly income

A term with a clock on it, and a trial that turns into a paid plan by itself. Perpetual and subscription are the same license with a different policy.

The license remembers the latest time it has seen. An expired license stays expired, even when the device clock moves back.

Sell cloud, desktop and offline on one contract

The same seats cover a cloud backend, a desktop install and a device that never goes online. One license, an activation flow for each.

An air-gapped device is as protected as a connected one: the same signature, the same seats, the same usage log.

Earn more from your heaviest users

A meter inside the license, with a quota per period and a policy for each tier.

Each tier carries its own policy: report the usage, slow it down, or refuse the call.

Let customers ask for what they want

They sign in, see what they hold and what they have used, and can ask to move up a plan. You approve it, or let it through. From inside your application they can also send feature requests, which reach your inbox with the version they were running.

Activation can ask for a verified email or a sign-in, so the seat stays with the person who bought it.

Send every change straight to billing

Oclavex tells your billing provider what happened. It charges the cards and sends the invoices.

Renewals, upgrades and overage reach billing as they happen, so your invoices match what is running.

Let your shop do the licensing

A new order creates the license by itself, through the public API. Your shop, your CRM or your ERP can each do it.

Every change goes to the audit log: who made it, and when.

    • Offers
    • Self-serve sign-up

Every refusal is counted, and says why

Each rung above holds a customer to something. This is where you read how often it did. Oclavex counts the license requests your applications send, the ones the server refused, and the reason behind each: a seat that is full, a sign-in that is needed, a license that has run its term.

A full seat pool is the one worth opening first. It is a customer who wants another install, counted for you.

And then it runs itself.
